David Norman
Group Vice President - Enterprise & Agriculture, Winrock International

David Norman is an agricultural economist with experience in managing large rural development projects within the United States as well as internationally. Currently he holds the position of Vice President of the Enterprise & Agriculture Group at Winrock International; which has oversight for Winrock’s Agricultural Programs, US Programs, the H. A. Wallace Center and the Volunteer Technical Assistance Unit. Most recently he headed Winrock's Volunteer Technical Assistance unit, which focuses primarily on recruiting qualified U.S. volunteers to assist farmers, businesses, and other organizations to share their knowledge, expertise, and monetization programs, which in turn sell U.S. agricultural commodities abroad funding local development projects and creating markets for U.S. goods. Prior to joining Winrock International in 1994, Mr. Norman was Director of Technology Operations for AgriBank in St. Louis, Missouri. Mr. Norman holds a position with the board of directors for AgriBank, a $50 billion cooperative bank serving 15 states. He also chairs Winrock's Information & Communication Technology oversight committee, which establishes technology priorities for the institution as a whole. Mr. Norman holds a master's degree in Agricultural Economics from the University of Arkansas.
